New Cavendish Street is only a short stroll away from the bustling Oxford Street and the tranquil Regent’s Park, those lucky enough to live there have the best of both worlds.
The stunning red-brick building at 50 – 52 Cavendish Street needed some attention to get it back to its former glory. The specialist team at BSPS were called upon for some external refurbishment work.
The team carried out brick pointing to the building as well as stone and window repairs. They installed new double-glazing windows at the rear elevation, completed roofing works, external painting and replaced external pipes.
Some electrical works were also needed so the team stripped out redundant cable wires, rerouted data cables and reinstalled all boilers within the building.
As the building was live throughout the work with tenants living in most of the flats, the team had to work around residents to replace the windows as some existing walls needed to be demolished. Despite the challenges, the team worked quickly and efficiently and received very positive feedback from the tenants
