Imperial College London is ranked as one of the best universities in the world and is famous for science, engineering, business, and medicine. As one of the most elite universities in the UK, facilities for the Rock Prep Labs had to be top of the range for students.

The expert team at BSPS were called in to strip out the existing laboratory equipment and replaced the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services. The team also fitted out the laboratory with new furniture and architectural finishes to walls, floors, and ceilings as well as a new fume cupboard – which is designed to capture and remove air-borne hazardous substances.
The team also installed a new ceiling mounted heat recovery unit to efficiently ventilate and heat the labs, as well as new electrical DB board lighting and data, fire alarm and door access control.

The 12-week project required an extremely high level of technical work from the specialist team at BSPS as well as the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractor.

The Rock Prep Labs in the iconic and recognised building has now been fully kitted out with a sleek, professional lab ready for future scientists to make the next big breakthrough.
