The eye-catching Cottons Centre is part of the London Bridge City estate. Constructed over 30 years ago, the steel-frame building houses office space and retail units over eight floors.

BSPS was called in for decoration and restoration of the striking building, and it came with its fair share of challenges. The riverside location meant that traditional scaffolding was out. Instead, the team used specialist spider cranes as well as a riverboat-mounted access platform.

The building was also fully in use at the time the work was being carried out, meaning much of the work was done at night.

BSPS is used to working on iconic buildings and the quality of the finish is testimony to that. With impeccable attention to detail, the building was fully restored to its former glory.
