BSPS was made to don its white coats and safety goggles to develop state-of-the-art chemistry and biology labs for MidKent College.

The largest establishment of higher and further education in Kent, the college has two centres, in Gillingham and Maidstone.

As part of a huge redevelopment of the Maidstone campus, labs were required as well as prep rooms and teaching facilities.

The project was designed, secured and built within only seven weeks, during the holiday period. As the main building was in use by students and staff, some work was to be undertaken outside normal working hours to avoid disruption.

The lab is now the perfect place for potential scientists of tomorrow to perform experiments.
