Varian Medical Systems helps save lives around the world. The company produces tools that harness the power of X-ray energy to fight cancer. Such a fantastic cause needed a fantastic place to work.

With a timeline of only eight weeks, Varian required a fit out of brand-new offices as well as a new research and development facility and despatch depot, to be created from existing warehouses.

BSPS rose to the challenge and undertook all building work. One warehouse was completely converted into modern CAT B offices, while the two adjoining warehouses were converted and modernised to be used for lifesaving research and development and despatching.

The team at Varian is now able to complete its heroic work in fresh, modern working environments and, we never know, it may be in the BSPS building where a breakthrough is made!
