Ryder Seed Hall

Service: Decoration & Restoration

Sector: Hospitality & Leisure

St Albans beloved Ryder Seed Hall was named after the entrepreneur and golf promoter who created the Ryder Cup competition between Europe and the United States.

Previously occupied by Café Rouge, the building has been empty since 2023 at its location on Holywell Hill.

With its stunning glass domed roof, the building had become a bit weather beaten and needed the specialist team from BSPS to bring it back to its former glory.

The team installed new liquid and felt roof coverings, did render repairs, decoration of the exterior and interior and internal strip-out of the old fixtures and fittings.

The stunning coloured glass windows also needed to be replaced and the huge-glazed roof was re-filmed which was a challenge due to the space and size.

Now back to its eye-catching former self, the Ryder Seed Hall is back to being a St Albans gem and is ready to welcome new tenants.
