Teikyo London Academy

Service: Fit Out

Sector: Education

The Teikyo London Academy was established in 1989 for Japanese students to learn in the UK. The main building is a stunning three-storey manor house set in countryside in Buckinghamshire, close to Windsor Castle and Eton College.

As one of the top International Schools in the UK, the science facilities had to be exceptional for students. The expert team at BSPS were called in to convert a previous breakout room into a top-of-the-range science lab.

The 10-week project required a whole new layout of the room, floors and fitted furniture. The team also had to fit new lighting and electrics and supply appropriate ventilation and gas supply for the technical science equipment.

The project required an extremely high level of technical work from the specialist team at BSPS as they had to ensure that all different services were linked to be shut off during an emergency.

The new science lab is now sleek and perfectly equipped to welcome keen students.
